Admission Requirements For Undergraduate Programs
The intending student should have minimum GPA 2.50 in S.S.C or equivalent and GPA 2.50 in H.S.C or equivalent examination for admission in undergraduate programs.
Admission Requirements For Graduate Programs
The student who intends to get enrolled in Post Graduate programs should have minimum 6 points.
Financial Assistance (Scholarships & Waivers)
As ours is a university that aims at providing quality education to the financially handicapped students, generous principles are followed so that the economically underprivileged get opportunity of higher education at an affordable cost availing the facilities of scholarship and Tuition fee waiver. The Following criteria decide scholarship/tuition fee waiver:
- Full free studentship for Golden A+ both SSC and HSC or GPA 4 in Diploma
- 6% poor and meritorious students and children of freedom fighters of the University get 100% tuition fee waiver.
- Up to 100% tuition fee waiver is offered to the students of CSE, ETE, EEE, BBA, LL.B(Hons.), BA(Hons.) in English and MA in English program according to their previous results.
- Up to 65% tuition fee waiver is offered to the students of MBA program according to their previous results.
Credit Transfer
The student’s credit transfer shall be decided upon the recommendation of the Equivalence Committee of the Department/University. The application of the intending students to enroll in the Prime University from other Universities will be examined by the Equivalence Committee of the respective Department. No course will be accepted below ‘C+’ (Plus) grade or less than 50% marks for a credit transfer of a student coming from other Universities.The recommendations of the Equivalence Committee will be placed before the Vice Chancellor for the final decisions. No students will be allowed to enroll with more than 50% of the total courses completed of the relevant Program from another University. The Controller of Examinations will convert the grades recommended by Equivalence Committee and approved by the Vice Chancellor in compliance with the Uniform Grading System of the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh (UGC). The final CGPA of the incumbent student will be calculated incorporating the converted grades along with the grades earned in Prime University.
