Admission Deadline: “Upto 01 February 2022“

• One filled out Application Form (Available at Admission Office).
• 2 copies of recent passport size color photo (studio lab print with white background for ID card).
• Photocopy of all relevant Certificates and Mark Sheets (Intermediate and Secondary Education Boards Bangladesh / International General Certificate of Secondary Education).
• Student’s National ID card/ Birth Certificate/ Passport/ Driving License.
• Guardian’s National ID card/ Passport/ Driving License/ Employee ID Card.
• For Credit Transfer Official Transcript and Migration Certificate/ No Objection Certificate.
• Showing Original certificate, mark sheets/transcripts, for verification by the officer in charge of admission of PU.

• Scholarships based on both academic and merit evaluation of previous results and semester results.

Waiver Conditions

Conditions applied for 100% waiver (all undergraduate regular programs):

The student must maintain CGPA 3.25 in bvery semester for continuation of the waiver. If CGPA falls below 3.25 after 3rd semester, the waiver will be 0% (Zero). The waiver will be reinstated if a student achieves CGPA 3.25.

Conditions applied for 10% – 90% waiver (all undergraduate regular programs):

The student must maintain CGPA 2.75 in every semester for continuation of the waiver. If CGPA falls below 2.75 after 3rd serrester, the waiver will be 0% (Zero). The waiver will be reinstated if a student achieves CGPA 2.75.

Waiver Conditions for Master’s Programs:

The student must maintain CGPA 2.75 in every semester for continuation of the waiver. If CGPA falls below 2.75 after 2nd semester, the waiver will be0% (Zero). The waiver will be reinstated if a student achieves CGPA 2.75.

Waiver Conditions for the Student under Freedom Fighter’s Quota:

The student must maintain CGPA 2.50 in every semester for continuation of the waiver. If CGPA falls below 2.50, the waiver will be 0% (Zero). The waiver will be reinstated if a student achieves CGPA 2.50.

Note: Waiver conditions will not be applicable for Diploma Engineers in the Engineering programs (Weekend & Evening) at Presidency University.

• Credit Transfer from any other institution must be reported to the Head of the Department at the earliest by a student desirous to transfer credits from his/her previous institution. An Equivalence Committee at the University will decide on how many credits will be accepted.
• A minimum of 50% credit hours has to be completed from the respective program at Presidency University for the Under Graduate & Graduate programs.
• A student may apply for exemption from courses attended at other universities if the course (s) contents match at least up to 85% with the contents of the corresponding course at PU.
• Transfer of credits from comparable educational institutions may be considered after admission and on completion of verification of all transcripts and documents by the Registrar‟s office.
• If a student is transferred from more than one university, pursuing the same degree, all his/her transferred credits will be recorded on the transcript at Presidency University and also that transferred credits may only be accepted after proper verification by the Registrar‟s Office.
• Foreign students are eligible to get Admission/Transfer of Credits with fulfill Admission/Transfer Criteria as per the policies of UGC and PU. Admission processing fees are applicable (Tk. 5000/-) for the admission.
