Admission Requirements For Undergraduate Programs
The minimum qualifications for admission in the undergraduate Programs are:
- The minimum GPA shall be 2.5 in both SSC & HSC/ Diploma .
- For “O” level & “ A “ systems an applicant must have completed 5 Papers in “O” Level and 2 papers in ‘A’ Level. He / She must have ‘B’ Grade or GPA 4 at least in 4 subjects & ‘C’ grade or GPA 3.5 in the rest of 3 subjects.
- Students who have completed the 4(Four) years Diploma Program under the Technical Education Board, are also eligible for admission under the program.
- For applicants from foreign countries equivalent standard shall be maintained. The applicant must have the 12th level.
- For all Science Program students must have GPA 2.5 in both SSC & HSC/ Diploma in Engineering with Physics and Mathematics. She/he has to pass in optional subjects (Both in SSC & HSC)
Admission Requirements For Graduate Programs
The minimum qualifications for admission in the graduate Programs are:
- Successful completion of at least a Bachelor degree from a reputed university.
- At least Second Class in all exams or a minimum CGPA of 2.5 on a 4-point scale No third division is allowed.
- For applicants from foreign countries equivalent standard shall be maintained. The applicant must have the 12th level.
- For all Science Program students must have GPA 2.5 in both SSC & HSC/ Diploma in Engineering with Physics and Mathematics. She/he has to pass in optional subjects (Both in SSC & HSC)
Required Documents During Admission
Application Form to be submitted with the following documents:
- Four copies of passport size photographs
- Photocopy of –
- SSC/O-level mark sheet
- SSC/O-level certificate
- HSC/A-level mark sheet
- HSC/A-level certificate
- Bachelor Certificate & Mark Sheet ( For Graduate Programs)
- National ID card/Passport/Birth Certificate (Both Self & Parents)
Admission Process
Admission Process:
The university follows two semester system i.e. Summer Semester, April to September) and Winter Semester, October to March) comparable to universities in Germany. The students are required to fulfil the UGC guidelines for admission. In addition, students may require to fulfil GUB departmental admission procedure. The admission forms and relevant information can be collected from the Admissions Office. For further information, visit university website. Completed Admission Forms together with required documents should be submitted to the Admission Office.
Transfer Students
Students seeking transfer from other universities must consult respective department’s Coordinator for approval before proceeding with the admission process.
International Students
International students seeking admission in GUB must fulfil the admission requirements as mentioned above. Admission will be confirmed after verification of their academic records equivalent courses of GUB. The eligible students will contact to International Students Admission department of GUB and they must provide the following documents:
- Original transcript & Certificate
- Financial Statement
- Valid Student Visa
- On request, the visa procedure can be done by International Students Admission department of GUB at a minimum cost.
Conditional Admission
Students may temporarily be admitted to the university pending availability of a particular examination result. However the pending results must be available before the commencement of the semester from when the admission is sought. The university reserves the right of granting / rejecting a prayer for conditional admission.

Cafeteria and Common Rooms: Its own cafeteria is located in the ground floor. Common rooms are separated for both male and female students.
Waiver: Substantial waiver is provided to the deserving candidates.
Specialised Laboratory: Well-equipped labs designed by expert with modern apparatus for teaching & research purpose. Labs are utilized for Environment Protection Technology, Food Science and Technology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Tissue culture & Computer Programming and Digital Electronics Subjects. Study programs:
The study programmes are conducted by a group of qualified & experienced faculty members from Bangladesh and Europe, particularly from different
universities of Germany. The teachers are selected by the panel of experts on the basis of the UGC requirements.
