Admission Requirements For Undergraduate Programs
Under Graduate-BBA,LLB,BA(Hons.) in English & BSS(Hons.) in Applied Sociology :
- Students who have passed SSC and HSC or equivalent examinations with at least two 2nd divisions or minimum GPA 2.5 in each (on the scale of 5) may apply for admission. For A level students, who have passed 5 subjects in “ O “ level and 2 subjects in “ A “ level may also apply for admission. Out of 7 subjects, the students must have B grade/GPA 4.00 in 4 subjects and C grade/GPA 3.50 in rest 3 subjects are required.
Undergraduate B.Pharm(Hons.):
- Eligibility for Admission Candidate must have a minimum aggregate GPA 6.50 in SSC/ 00 level or equivalent and HSC/ ” A” level or equivalent examinations (in a total scale of 10). Candidate must pass SSC /”0″ level or recognized equivalents and HSC/ “A” level or recognized equivalents in Science Group and obtain a minimum GPA 3.0 (in a scale of5) without any additional subject. Candidate must pass HSC/ “A” level or recognized equivalent examination with a minimum GPA 3.0 in Chemistry and Biology separately and a minimum GPA 2.0 in Mathematics (in a scale of 5). However candidates having no Mathematics need to take an extra 3 (three) credits course on Mathematics. Foreign students passed 12 education years and got same grades in equivalent examinations from foreign recognized institutions. Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics (with Biology as an optional subject)
Admission Requirements For Graduate Programs
MBA(Regular & Executive) :
MBA (Regular): Minimum Bachelor Degree with second class from any discipline
MBA (Executive):
Masters Degree with minimum 2-year work experience as executive
Bachelor Degree with minimum 3-yearwork experience as executive
LL.M (1-year):
Any LL.B (Hons) graduate from a recognised university is eligible for 1- year Master of Laws (LL.M) Program.
MA in English
A student obtaining BA (Hons.) in English from ASA University Bangladesh or any recognized university and having no third class at SSC or HSC or equivalent level will be eligible for admission in the programme.
Admission Requirements For MPH Degree Programme
1.Candidates having M.B.B.S/BDS/MD/DVM/Physiotherapy / Occupational therapy / BAMS / BUMS / BHMS or any equivalent degree in Medical/Health Sciences from a recognized University / Institution and four Years B.Sc. Nursing can apply.
2.Candidates with the following degrees and job experience are eligible for admission to the MPH degree program.
A) A Master degree in Health/ Biological science, Science, Environmental science and Social science from a recognized University or accredited institution of higher education with preferably at least two (2) years working experience in the health or social development sectors.
B) Three (3) or four (4) year Bachelor degree in Health/ Biological sciences, Science, Environmental science and Social science from a recognized University or accredited institution of higher education with preferably three (3) years working experience in the health and or social development sectors.
C) Three (3) or four (4) year B.Sc. degree in Medical / Dental technology from any recognized institution with preferably three (3) years working experience in the health or social development sectors.
D) Bachelor / Master degree holders other than specified above are eligible for admission subject to having job experience, preferably 5 years in health or social development sectors.
E) Students must have passed HSC/A-level or equivalent examinations and secured at least second division or GPA-2.5 in each of the examinations. But aggregate number of the two examinations must not be less than GPA-6. Descendant of Freedom Fighter requires minimum GPA -5 in aggregate of the two examinations. In graduate level examination, a student must have secured minimum GPA- 2.
F) Incase of ‘ 0 ‘Level & ‘ A ‘ Level categories, student must have secured ‘ B ‘ Grade or GPA-4 in each of the four subjects out of seven, and C Grade or GPA- 3.5 in each of the rest three subjects.
G) Student, who passed GED (General Education Development), must have secured 410 marks in each of the courses (5 courses) separately out of 800 marks with an average 450 marks
Applicants who do not meet the minimum requirements will be ineligible for admission.
