Admission Requirements For Undergraduate Programs
B. Sc. in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) [143 Credits]
A candidate for admission into the 4 year Bachelor program must have the minimum following
qualifications:
- Science background both in SSC and HSC
- Minimum GPA 2.5 in HSC and SSC each individually
- Minimum grade C in 2 major subjects in ‘A’ Level and 5 subjects of ‘O’ Level or High School Diploma in US
- Qualifying marks in admission test (written and oral)
- The gap between passing HSC or ‘A’ Level and applying for admission cannot be more than three (3) years.
The rules and conditions for admission into this department shall be construed by the Academic Council on the recommendation of the Admission Committee each year.
Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) [132 Credit]
A candidate for admission into the 4 year Bachelor program must have the minimum following
qualifications:
- Minimum GPA 2.5 in HSC and SSC each individually
- Minimum grade C in 2 major subjects in ‘A’ Level and 5 subjects of ‘O’ Level or High School Diploma in US

A candidate for admission into the 4 year Bachelor program must have the minimum following
qualifications:

Bachelor of Arts in English Language & Literature (ELL) [138 Credits]
A candidate for admission into the 4 year Bachelor program must have the minimum following
qualifications:
- Minimum GPA 2.5 in HSC and SSC each individually
- Minimum grade C in 2 major subjects in ‘A’ Level and 5 subjects of ‘O’ Level or High School Diploma in US
- Qualifying marks in admission test (written and oral)
- The gap between passing HSC or ‘A’ Level and applying for admission cannot be more than three (3) years.

Admission Requirements For Graduate Programs
Master of Business Administration
A candidate for admission into the 2-year MBA (Regular) program must have the minimum of following qualifications:
- A minimum of 15 years of schooling prior to MBA
- Minimum CGPA 2.5 out of 4 (2nd Division/Class) in Bachelor degree in any discipline
- Minimum GPA 2.5 in HSC and SSC each
- Minimum grade C in 2 major subjects in ‘A’ Level, and 5 subjects in ‘O’ Level, or High School Diploma of the USA standard
- Qualifying marks in NDUB admission tests (written and oral)
The rules and conditions for admission into this department shall be construed by the Academic Council on the recommendation of the Admission Committee each year.
EMBA Program
A candidate for admission into the 2-year EMBA (Regular) program must have the minimum of following qualifications:
- A minimum of 15 years of schooling and at least 3-year proffessional/executive/corporate experience prior to EMBA
- Minimum CGPA 2.5 out of 4 (2nd Division/Class) in Bachelor degree in any discipline.
- Minimum GPA 2.5 in HSC and SSC each
- Minimum grade C in 2 major subjects in ‘A’ Level, and 5 subjects in ‘O’ Level, or High School Diploma of the USA standard
- Qualifying marks in NDUB admission tests (written and oral)
The rules and conditions for admission into this department shall be construed by the Academic Council on the recommendation of the Admission Committee each year.
Offline Application Process
A complete application will contain the following:
- Filling up the application form signed by the applicant himself/herself
- Six-passport size and two stamp size photographs with names
- Original copy of all certificates and transcripts (mark sheets); original copy will be returned
- Attested photocopies of all certificates and transcripts (mark sheets)
- One set of appointment letter(s) and experience certificate(s), if any (attested)
- Application fee: Tk. 1,000/= (one thousand only: non-refundable) – payable at the NDUB office.

Financial Assistance (Scholarships & Waivers)
Eligibility for Waiver
Students who secure required marks by writing exam in normal procedure, without any make-up exam, can be considered for waivers. Details are given below:
- 10% tuition fee waiver will be granted to the students who completed their SSC from Christian missionary schools or HSC from Christian Missionary colleges
- Up to 50% tuition fee waiver to one of the two siblings as long as both of them are at NDUB;
- Up to 100% tuition fee waiver can be granted to one of the three siblings as long as three of them are at NDUB.
- Up to 50% tuition fee waiver to the physically challenged candidates;
- Up to 50% tuition fee waiver to the children and grandchildren of the freedom fighters;
- Up to 50% tuition fee waiver can be granted to spouse, offspring(s) and sibling(s) of the NDUB faculty members and employees.
- 50% tuition fee waiver for one trimester if a student is admitted at NDUB with GPA 5 in SSC and HSC.
Waiver Based On Merit
Merit Based Waivers for BBA & BSc in CSE, MBA & EMBA
- 40% tuition fee waiver for one following trimester for those who get CGPA 4:00 out of 4:00.
- 30% tuition fee waiver for one following trimester for those who get CGPA 3.94 to 3.99.
- 20% tuition fee waiver for one following trimester for those who get CGPA 3.88 to 3.93.
Merit Based Waivers for LL.B, BA in English, BA in Economics, MA in English & LL.M
- 40% tuition fee waiver for one following trimester for those who get CGPA 3:80 and above.
- 30% tuition fee waiver for one following trimester for those who get CGPA 3:75 to 3:79.
- 20% tuition fee waiver for one following trimester for those who get CGPA 3:70 to 3:74.
Special Waivers for all Graduate Programs (MBA, EMBA, MSc in CSE, LL.M, MA in English Literature, MA in ELT and Applied Linguistics)
- 20% tuition fee waiver will be granted to graduate students who completed their undergraduate programs from NDUB
- Up to 25% tuition fee waiver for one of a married couple as long as both of them are studying at NDUB.
